High hopes is a universal motto for optimism. The last few months however, have shown a lack of commitment and we appoligize for that. Don’t worry though, this website promises to be better than before with a new team behind it. Be on the lookout for more about that in the “About” section of the website. For now, let’s focus on the future.

Self Improvement chronicled through daily journaling
If you read about the great achievers of history, you’ll find that most of them were voracious writers. Maintaining a daily journal allows you to interpret your thoughts and foster a sense of self-awareness which will provide you with the ability to reinvent yourself on a moment’s notice and help you to develop unshakable self-confidence.
Many do so in an actual book with pen and paper, and some do so online. I often will blog my most briliant ideas on the internet (being careful not to give away too much) to share my thoughts with others. Check out Live Journal or Thoughts to get started online with your own journal/blog (both of these sites offer privacy options)
Self Improvement using meditation
Probably the most often neglected form of self improvement tips is also one of, if not the most important.
Meditation is the most efficient means of reducing stress and cleansing your mind of the clutter that leads to unnecessary worry and anxiety. Daily meditation also helps to reduces your heart rate and regulate your digestion among a myriad of other health benefits.
It will help you sleep more restful and helps your body to recover faster from fatigue.
Basically, practicing meditation is the one thing which can make your goals regarding self improvement more effective.
Do You Expect To Win Every Time?
Those who achieve great things in life usually are not any more intelligent or capable than the average person. But they do have one difference, which many intelligent people have a difficult time accomplishing: they have an expectation to win, even before they have any idea how they’re going to do it.
Having expectations doesn’t require any knowledge of how those expectations are going to be, and if you start from a belief of resolute expectancy, the rest is just a matter of perseverance.
Writing Goals and Plans of Actions for Self Improvement
The habit of putting your clear and specific goals and plans of action for achieving those goals in a clearly written format is an absolute must if you want to accomplish anything. This is because writing down your goals clarifies them and that begins building an expectation of achieving them in your mind.
Also, having plans in writing gives you a specific set of actions to undertake each and every day, taking you towards the realization of your long-term goal.

Be a Well Rounded Person
The course of personal development must be holistic in nature.
Every area of your life, the financial, the intellectual, the spiritual, the physical, the emotional, and the social affects every other area either directly or indirectly. If your relationships are out of whack, it’s going to affect your physical and your financial life. If your health, or physical is out of whack, it’s going to stunt your personal growth and make it more difficult for you to find the energy to achieve any of your goals.
So, regardless of what you’re trying to achieve, becoming and staying well-rounded is essential to living a balanced life and for building physical stamina, the emotional fortitude, the financial security and the social support system required to achieve great things.
The Power of Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations have the power to alter your inner dialogue which can literally change your personality, your character, your actions and your life. For best results, write one positive affirmation for each of the key areas of your life (physical, intellectual, finances, spiritual, emotional and social) and make a commitment to rehearsing them out loud twice daily.
When We Teach, We Learn
This is as important as any of the seven self improvement tips. The more you teach the principles of personal growth to other people, the more apparent your understanding will be of them and the more effective you’ll be able to make them in your own life. Even if you have no one to teach, you can write about the principles of personal development in your journal and how they are helping you.
You can even start by writing a short paragraph in your journal about each of these simple self improvement tips. Write each one as if you were teaching the principles to someone else and your understanding of them will deepen.
This is one way starting a blog would also be benefitial as you can post information, essentially teaching others indirectly.
And so, I hope you were able to gain some insight from these self improvement tips – Moving forward the topics will be geared towards self improvement with a general goal of inspiring you, the reader.
And remember to always…
